concrete
ok. i said i was never going to do concrete again. but guess what?? the idiot that i had doing my concrete for me, showed up today and decided that he was quitting. yup. he just quit. what an ass.
so, it looks like i'm in the concrete business again. i'm trying to get a couple of small retaining walls in along the sides of the driveway so we can level out the yard, install gas service, water service, etc... i have a concrete truck coming on saturday at 8am. looks like i have my work cut out for me between now and then.
bar is all tied, we just need to frorm the walls, and somehow, get the concrete into the forms on saturday.

Ugh, that sucks terribly. Concrete punk! At least you know the job will be well done.
It also sounds like you are in the last stages of building. Is that right or are there still so many things left to do?
