bare bones

the remaining useful materials from the house were removed last weekend. i pulled up all the hardwood flooring that i could get (with help from dear old dad) to plane down and use as moulding and baseboards in the new house. i wanted to recycle all that i could, and the idea that some of the old house will still be used was one that i really liked.
the power and gas were cut this week (at least i hope they were. i haven't been over there since saturday.) there's really not much left there of worth but the power panel which i'll pull out this week. now its just nailing down some subs to do the demo and excavation and we're off! probably get started right about the time baby king is born...
i'll get over to the place this weekend and try to get a few last pics of what's left before we squash the place.

Ken,
Best of luck with the house. I am glad to hear that things are moving along now!

Sounds like you are making progress. I like the plans to re-use some of the materials from the old house. You have a lot of work ahead of you! Thanks for the updates.
